Alderwood was commissioned to create a unique outdoor living space that would encourage the family to spend time outdoors. The client wanted to make better use of their backyard, which was not being used due to a steep sloping lawn area.

Our Bellevue landscape architects created a design featuring a slate stone patio, gas fire pit, water feature, and play area for the kids. An outdoor kitchen furnished with a warm color palette by Richs for the Home complemented by unique LED lighting created the perfect backyard gathering place for friends and family.

After shifting the location of the outdoor room to accommodate the existing drain field, our landscape contractor completed the entire project in just 14 weeks. Work was completed on time and on budget.
